December is here and it’s time for some holiday cheer! Around the Niagara Region, there is still time to meet the famous Santa Claus!

65th Annual Grimsby Santa Claus ParadeDecember 3, 2022Grimsby
The 65th annual Santa Claus Parade returns just in time for Grimsby’s 100th birthday! Community floats, walking groups, marching bands, and various entertainment, the parade starts at 5:15 pm Eastbound along Livingston Avenue/Main Street West starting at Blessed Trinity Secondary School and ending at the Ontario Street intersection.

Fort Erie Family Fun with Santa & FireworksDecember 3, 2022Fort Erie Racetrack, Fort Erie
A free family-friendly event with music, pony rides, a kid’s game zone, food trucks, a craft area, and a visit with Santa! Kick off the Christmas season with an incredible fireworks display and performances by The Peacock School of Dance and Fort Erie School of Music.

Port Colborne’s Santa Claus ParadeDecember 4, 2022Port Colborne
Starting at 6:30 pm, the traditional Lighted Santa Claus Parade returns. The magic runs from Port Colborne High School to south on Steeles St, to Clarence Street, turns on West Street and turns west on Charlotte Street ending at City Hall.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Christmas ParadeDecember 10, 2022Old Town, Niagara-on-the-Lake
The traditional Christmas Parade in Old Town is back! Scheduled for Saturday, December 10, beginning at 11:00 a.m, the parade will start at the intersection of King and Center Street in Old Town and travel throughout its traditional route down Castlereagh, Wellington, Byron/Prideaux, Simcoe, and Queen Street.

Shop for all sorts of one-of-a-kind gifts this holiday season or treat yourself to something special from one of the 25 local artisans. There will be festive treats, gift packaging available, and all proceeds will benefit the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre children and seniors programs.

All I Want for Christmas MarketDecember 3 – 4, 2022Niagara Falls Convention Centre, Niagara Falls
The holiday season is here and this is the perfect place to get your shopping done! This Christmas market features over 80 vendors and artisans, prizes, giveaways, and a special appearance from Santa Claus himself. Tickets are available at the door for $3 (cash only, children 12 and under are free).

Niagara Falls Winter Festival of LightsNovember 12 – February 20, 2023Niagara Falls
Celebrating 40 years, the largest free outdoor light festival returns in time for the holidays. With millions of lights, interactive displays across various tourism areas, and a new illumination light show called “Sparkling Winter Lights”, the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls will also be illuminated nightly!
