Santa Claus is coming to town!

Here are all of the dates, times and routes for the Santa Claus Parades in the Niagara Region for 2017.

Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade

Sunday November 18, 2017 @ 11:00AM

The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade will be hosted by The Peet & Reet Show and filmed and streamed live on the City of Niagara Falls YouTube Channel.

The Parade Route begins at 11:00 am on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, and travels north along Victoria Avenue, turning right onto Valley Way, right onto Queen Street and ending at Niagara Falls City Hall.

Don’t miss the Opening Ceremonies of The Winter Festival of Lights on Saturday, November 18 at 6:00 pm in Queen Victoria Park.


Welland Santa Claus Parade

Saturday November 18, 2017 @ 4:00PM

Parade Route: The 2017 Santa Clause Parade begins at Canadian Tire Financial Services (corner of East Main & Wellington Streets), travels west on East Main St, ending at Civic Square.

Along the route, Canada Post carriers will be collecting letters to Santa and the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council will be collecting donations for the Welland Open Arms Mission.

Back at Civic Square, the fun is just beginning with the lighting of Welland’s Christmas Tree. Here, kids can visit with Santa, while warming up with free hot chocolate and treats. After the parade, why not stay for a showing of Merry Madagascar on the big screen at Civic Square.


Fort Erie Santa Claus Parade

New Route: The parade starts at Jarvis Street and the Niagara Boulevard, traveling up Jarvis Street to Central Ave. The parade turns left onto Central Ave and straight down Central Ave ending at Catherine Street.


St. Catharines Santa Claus Parade

Sunday November 19, 2017 @ 1PM

The Parade begins on McGuire Street behind the Meridian Centre and travels along McGuire, left on Carlisle Street, down Carlisle then left on St. Paul Street, travels along St. Paul to Queen Street where the parade ends.

Visit the Meridian Centre for a post parade party and FREE skate plus many other activities for the whole family from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Thorold Santa Claus Parade

Saturday November 25, 2017 @ 4:00PM

On Saturday, November 25th, parade-goers can count on big bands, big floats and various community groups to dazzle them – with colourful Christmas lights and music that will entertain the whole family.

The parade will begin on Sullivan Avenue, to Front Street and end at Thorold Arena. 


60th Annual Grimsby Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 2, 2017 @ 5:15PM

This year’s thems is 150 years of Canadian traditions. 

Each year the parade consists of approximatley 90 entries which includes community floats, walking groups, marching bands and various entertainment.

The parade will begin at Town Hall on Main Street heading eastbound along Livingston Avenue and end at the Ontario Street intersection. 


Port Colborne Annual Lighted Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 2, 2017 @ 6:30PM

The parade will begin at Port Colbourne High School and finishes at Market Square on Charlotte Street in front of City Hall. Children are then welcome to visit with Santa at Guild Hall. #PORTicipate


Niagara-on-the-Lake Santa Claus Parade

Pelham Santa Claus Parade

Letters for Santa will be collected along the parade route.

Starting at Bethany Christian Reform Church (1086 Balfour St., Fenwick) heading North on Balfour Street to Canboro Road, West on Canboro Road to Church Street, North on Church Street to Centennial Park (999 Church St., Fenwick). Join us at Centennial Park after the parade until 4pm for post celebrations- including food and activities! All are welcome!
