The Many Hands Project is a student-driven renovation program executed by the Event Management and Construction Renovation Technicians at Niagara College. The students of the Event Management program create and execute fundraisers to raise the money for the renovations done by the Construction Renovation Technicians.

Since 1988, the Many Hands project has supported 17 not-for-profit organizations. The recipient this year is The Hope Centre. The Hope Centre has proudly served the citizens of Welland and the Niagara community for over 39 years who deal with daily issues of hunger, poverty and homelessness.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony took place on January 22, 2016 and marked the official start of renovation. The renovation will include demolition to reconfigure space into a commercial kitchen and dining room for 60 people for the soup kitchen. The Project Reveal will take place on April 16, 2016.
