Canada Day in Niagara Parks Celebrate Canada Day with a visit to Niagara Parks.
With exciting attractions, stunning views of the iconic Horseshoe Falls and the beautiful scenery and trails along the Niagara River corridor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re a nature lover or an adventure seeker. See the Falls shine like never before with dazzling patriotic illuminations, then look to the sky as spectacular fireworks light up the night at 10 p.m. For a spectacular view of the fireworks, Niagara Parks suggests that anywhere in Queen Victoria Park is a good spot. For prime spots to see the fireworks and hear the music by KISS 98.5FM they recommend Table Rock Centre, Queen Victoria Place and Grand View Market. Visit Simcoe Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake for events from 10 AM – 10 PM!

Catharines Lakeside Long Weekend returns to Lakeside Park Monday, June 30 and Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1. Presented in partnership with Cicada Music and Arts Festival with support from Heritage Canada and Experience Ontario, Lakeside Long Weekend brings together the community for a cultural celebration with live music, art and family fun. Admission is free.

Join British, American and First Nations soldiers on a tour of the grounds and learn more about Niagara’s pivotal role in the War of 1812. Commemorate the 221 anniversary.
