Fall is here and the trees are turning.
We will admit to being biased about October. We live here, and this is the month we stop having to sell anything. The escarpment turns from the top down. The wineries finish the hard part and remember how to enjoy themselves. The falls are lit by quarter past six, so you can have dinner and still see them properly. It is also the month with the shortest fuse. Thanksgiving is the 12th and the good tables are going now. The Shaw closes out its season in eleven days. The patios have weeks left, not months. So take this as an invitation rather than a calendar. Pick one thing, book it today, and come and spend a weekend with us before the light changes.
