Hand-crafted in Niagara by Owner/designer April Mitchell-Boudreau, Loftan is a convertible jewelry line that is designed using traditional materials and textures including shell, sustainably sourced wood, and semi-precious stones. This female and Indigenous-owned business celebrates creativity, diversity and unique beauty. The pieces are carefully designed by April Mitchell-Boudreau who is a Turtle clan Mohawk with roots at Six Nations. The company itself is also based in the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee and Anishnabe people.

The jewelry makes the perfect gift for Mother’s Day with a wide selection of styles, colours, and sets. With a curated Mother’s Day Guide available online, selecting the right piece is a breeze. Beautiful pendants feature vibrant colours such as the striking red Howlite or electric blue Druzy Agate.

A portion of proceeds from select items will go towards the Lydia Ruth Fund which provides scholarships for Indigenous students in the Arts. The fund was started to educate the public on the effects of Residential Schools and the impacts of colonialism on Indigenous people. The collection includes a custom solid sterling silver charm on a sterling chain with details like the two Row Wampum, beads and feather, or a pair of convertible feather earrings in a stunning orange.
