Happy Canada Day! Today we’re celebrating and sharing our pride in the beautiful country where we get to live, work and play! If you’re looking to celebrate Canada Day in the Niagara Falls Region, here are just a few of the events happening today:
Two Nation Celebration
Watch as special illuminations bathe Niagara Falls in patriotic colours as spectacular fireworks shows light up the night sky, beginning at 10 p.m.
The dazzling shows will unfold to the beat of top Canadian and American musicians synced by Kiss 98.5FM.
Enjoy this special celebration of unity and national pride, commemorating Canada Day on July 1 and Independence Day on July 4.

Canada Day Celebrations in Downtown Welland
Merritt Park and King Street, Welland
Experience a full day and night in true community spirit!
Merritt Park 2 to 6 p.m.: During the day enjoy arts and culture activities, sports hub, kids fun zone, interactive experience areas, local vendors and food trucks
Merritt Park Amphitheatre 7 p.m.: Enjoy the music of Shawn Brady and Northern Sons with guests Madhatters.
Stay for fireworks following the concert!

West Lincoln Canada Day Celebration
Leisureplex Township Park – 2543 South Grimsby Road. 6, Smithville
The Township of West Lincoln is hosting a spectacular Canada Day event, featuring fun activities for the whole family, headlined by Practically Hip, Canada’s number one Hip tribute, and capped off with a fireworks display by Garden City Display Fireworks, Inc. at 10 p.m. sharp.
The activities start at 3 p.m., with the Main Stage performances starting at 6:30 p.m.

Canada Day at Niagara-on-the-Lake
Several locations, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Niagara-on-the-Lake is celebrating Canada Day 2024 with events including:
- Free admission and all-day activities at Fort George
- Live music and entertainment, tiny museum and antique car display at Simcoe Park
- A giant “Cake Parade” at 3 p.m. with the 41st Regiment Fife & Drum Corps on Queen Street leading to Simcoe Park
