EXPERIENCE THE WONDER WE CALL "HOME" September 2021 Back to School Shopping: Supporting Local Businesses September marks back to school for many families. No matter how they will be returning to school, here are a few of our favourite items from local shops that could help make the return much easier (and more fun) for everyone. Craft Coffee + Goods | St.

Catharines You will likely remember this as the Craft Arts Market that was located in downtown St. Catharines. With a move to an online platform, Craft Coffee + Goods still offers all the artisanal and unique items that we've come to know and love.

Whether you're looking for hair accessories for a back to school look, fun stationery to use, clean living products like reusable snack bags and beeswax wrap to help make lunchtime more sustainable, or fun pins and patches to decorate a school bag, there are so many great items to explore that support local and quality handmade goods. Items are available to be shipped or can be picked up in St. Catharines at the Craft Coffee Goods Warehouse located at 55 Geneva Street.

Check out their website to shop their products. Photos by Craft Coffee + Goods {pocket} CHANGE | St. Catharines This store located in downtown St.

Catharines helps make a difference while selling some incredible products that support local artisans and makers. A minimum of 5% of sales from all products purchased from {pocket} CHANGE supports four different local organizations that work to fight child labour, support the employment of women escaping the sex trade in India, funding education for girls in developing countries, and recycling initiatives. Offering a variety of lifestyle products including aromatherapy to help get through those stressful days, quirky outfits to show off your personality, handbags and totes to carry books or lunches, and much more, you can shop knowing you're also doing some good!

They also host open-air markets on Friday and Saturday evenings between 4:30-8:00 PM and Sunday between 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Check out their website here for all their products and information on the night markets. Niagara Region: Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to visit for fewer crowds?

Weekday mornings outside peak summer and holiday weekends are typically quieter. Shoulder seasons (late spring and early fall) balance weather and crowd levels.

Do I need a passport to cross the border for viewpoints?

Crossing between Canada and the United States requires valid travel documents. Many experiences stay on one side—check your itinerary before you go.

Are the trails and gorge viewpoints family-friendly?

Many paths are accessible with proper footwear, but some gorge routes include stairs and uneven stone. Review trail notes and posted advisories before heading out.
