Niagara Parks Power Station The Niagara Parks Power Station is a fascinating piece of history that played a crucial role in transforming Niagara Falls into one of the largest hydroelectric power sources in the world.
This impressive facility was built in the early 1900s and was the first hydroelectric power station to be built on the Canadian side of the falls. Today, visitors can explore the power station and learn all about its history and technology. The attraction offers a unique look at the inner workings of the power station, with interactive exhibits that allow visitors to see how the turbines and generators work to harness the power of the Falls, including a descent 180 feet beneath the power station to discover a 2,200-foot long tunnel that opens up to a stunning panoramic view.
One of the highlights of the power station is the chance to see some of the original equipment or stick around for Currents: Niagara's Power Transformed for a magical and illuminating show of light and sound. Visitors can get up close and personal with giant turbines and generators, as well as learn about the construction of the power station and the challenges faced by its builders. In addition to its historical significance, the Niagara Parks Power Station continues to play an important role in meeting the energy needs of the region.

This festival is the perfect opportunity to sample the best wines and local cuisine in the region.
You can explore a variety of vineyards and wineries and learn about the wine-making process from local experts. The festival also features live music, food vendors, and fun activities for the whole family. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a fun day out, the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival is the perfect way to experience the best of wine country.
The Summer Series launches on June 16 with the seasonal Discovery Pass Program where each pass entitles you to six seasonal wine and culinary pairings from participating wineries across the region. Other exciting events include the TD Tailgate Party which will be held this year at Palatine Hills Estate Winery. Celebrate summer and good times with a menu of premium VQA wine, live entertainment, and seasonal culinary favourites like pizza, BBQ, and more.
Finally, Brunch by the Lake at Charles Daley Park is a morning of premium VQA wine, wine-based cocktails, and the return of the Brunch Battle. Tickets are on sale now for all events.
