Marynissen is home to Canada’s oldest commercial Cabernet Sauvignon planting, a small-lot winery in the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation that’s been in the same family since 1953. The style is rustic and modern at once, poured by the glass in a tasting room built for lingering rather than rushing through. Ask about a group tour if there are more than six of you, and don’t miss the Wines & Spines club if books are your thing too.
