Niagara Folk Arts Festival

Opening Ceremonies Saturday May 5th, 10:30am.

This festival is a beautiful blend of the cultures and people that make Canada a nation to be envied. During the festival the multicultural community opens its doors and its hearts and welcomes you to experience the beauty and uniqueness of their cultures, traditions, art, music and food. There are dances, exhibitions, live entertainment and more.

Chippewa Home & Garden Show

Times: Friday - 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Chippawa-Willoughby Memorial Arena – 9000 Sodom Rd., Niagara Falls. Parking is FREE. The 2018 Chippawa Home, Garden & Leisure Show is the first consumer show in Chippawa that includes nearly 40 exhibitors, offering everything you need for your home improvement project, travel, finances, pet care/training & outdoor living. Proceeds support Autism Ontario Niagara and the Project Share Food Bank.

Based on Roundabout Theatre Company’s Tony Award® winning production, Sam Mendes (Skyfall and American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Cabaret comes to Fallsview.

Sip and Sizzle

11am to 5pm every weekend in May, Cost: $45 touring pass. Over 20 wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake each offer a unique grilled food and VQA wine pairing. It’s fun, relaxing, and a great way to discover the Wines of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Springtime in Paris: Heartland Forest

Cost: $125 / person. Internationally acclaimed jazz musician Juliet Dunn and her entourage will provide live music as you enjoy an art marketplace, Parisienne style dinner and ‘live art’ production. Finish off the evening, dancing the night away, as the live music continues. Proceeds benefit Heartland Forest's All Abilities Programming.

Niagara Mudfest

Cost: $25-80. Niagara Mudfest Challenge is a mud-run obstacle course that is 6km in length for adults 13 and older and a 1km course designed just for kids, all contained within the naturally hilly terrain of Bissell’s Hideaway, in the heart of the Short Hills of Niagara.

Bruce Trail Club: Hiking 101

Hiking 101 is an introductory course for novice hikers, members and non-members alike.  If you want some guidance on where to begin, what to wear and what to take along, this is the course for you.  The course is a combination of workshop with Q & A session followed by short hikes along the trail.

Victoria Day and Memorial Day Fireworks

Time: 10pm. For 25 years, Niagara Parks has hosted Canada’s longest running fireworks series. Join us in Queen Victoria Park for a spectacular fireworks display set off from below, at the river’s edge, creating an unforgettable show above the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
