Featuring 3 Segway Tours with included training
Niagara Segway’s main location is at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre at 1932 Welland Canals Parkway. This location also hosts the viewing deck at Lock 3 where the ships traverse around the mighty Niagara falls as they travel up bound to the Upper Great Lakes or down to the St. Lawrence River.
This location features 3 carefully planned Segway tours that include full training and safety helmets. After approximately 15 minutes training we venture out on a guided tour along the picturesque Welland Canal traveling on a 2.5 meter wide paved pathway stopping at strategic points for picture taking opportunities and discussions on the history of the canals.
Tours at Old Port Dalhousie are also available where the Canals began in the early 1800’s and some of the original locks can still be seen. This tour also crosses the bridge that joins Rannie Park to Jaycee’s park with a superb view of the world renowned Henley Regatta course.
We also feature several Niagara winery tours where we tour the vineyard on Segway’s and learn about the art of wine making and discuss the various varieties of grapes and why Niagara has ideal conditions for growing the fruit of the vine. After the vineyard tour our guests are invited to view the cellars and have further discussions on wine making, we then walk a few steps and sample the elixir grown in the Niagara vineyards.
For your convenience a calendar can be viewed on our website to help you decide when we can best accommodate your Segway adventure. Booking online or by telephone is the best way to get confirmation of your requested date and time.
